Skin Biopsy

A skin biopsy is a procedure in which our Board Certified Dermatologist cuts and removes a small sample of skin to have it tested via pathology. This can either be done via a shave method or punch biopsy. In both procedures, the Dermatologist will numb the area and treat it with care. This sample may help the doctor diagnose diseases such as skin cancer, infection, rashes, and other skin disorders.
